Our mobility experts have the expertise and experience to address your individual needs and preferences, so call us to receive the expert advice and personalized service that sets us apart from all other conversion van dealers.

  1. What are the advantages of buying a wheelchair van from Brunswick Mobility over purchasing it direct from the manufacturer?

Brunswick Mobility Professionals have been leaders in the automotive industry for over forty years. Not only do we have the experience and expertise to provide you with the right vehicle for your needs, but we are the only mobility dealer in the tri-state area with an on-site, full service, bumper-to-bumper automotive repair facility. Wheelchair accessible vans are our specialty and we conduct an in-depth analysis of your or your loved one’s special needs to ensure that you have the highest quality mobility equipment that suits your needs now and in the future.
  2. How long have you been in business?

We have been keeping our customers on the go since 1969.
  3. What kind of vans do you carry?

Brunswick Mobility Professionals are authorized dealers for new and used Braun, VMI, Freedom Motors and Eldorado National, Viewpoint, Tuscany, Eclipse and Explorer mini and full size van conversions. We carry Toyota, Honda, Dodge, Chrysler and Volkswagen minivans.
  4. Do I need a side or rear entry van?

One of the most important decisions you will make in the purchase of a wheelchair van is whether to have access ramp on the side or the rear of the vehicle. Both options have pros and cons.

In order to determine which option is right for you, you need to ask the following questions:
    • Who will be driving the vehicle? Rear-entry accessibility does not allow the person operating the wheelchair to sit in the driver or front passenger seat; if the driver will be seated in a wheelchair, side entry vehicles are the way to go.
    • Where will you be parking? A rear entry wheelchair minivan can park in regular, non-accessible parking spaces and garages if required and require no extra side room. A side entry vehicle is more convenient for drivers who frequently park parallel to a curb or live in areas where parking lots are not available.
    • Other factors to consider include the size of the wheelchair and number of passengers to be transported. We have the experience and expertise to help you determine the best options for your needs.

  5. Can I drive from my wheelchair?

Absolutely! There are a variety of options that allow you to drive from your wheelchair, including electric tie-down systems, hand controls and more. Transfer seats are also available, allowing the driver to transfer out of their wheelchair into an automotive seat. Call us to discuss your specific needs and we’ll provide with the best solutions to get you on the road!
  6. Will you come to us?

We pride ourselves on our customer service and frequently meet our customers at their homes or other locations including hospitals or rehab facilities. We can even bring vehicles to you for test drives. Our goal at Brunswick Mobility is 100% customer satisfaction and we truly want our customers to feel comfortable with their purchase. 7. Can I test drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle?

By all means! We always have several vehicles on site for you to test drive.
  8. What if something happens to my wheelchair accessible van in the middle of the night or on the weekend?

Help is just a phone call away. Brunswick Mobility customers can speak with our experts to help guide them through any unexpected problems. We also have a 24/7 emergency help line available for our customers.
  9. Do you have loaner vans?

In most cases, our expert technicians can have your vehicle serviced while you wait. When a longer appointment is required, we often drive our customers home or provide loaner vans.
  10. What are my financing options?

We have special arrangements with many lending sources that specialize in financing accessible vehicles and can provide our customers with competitive finance options for up to 120 months. We also work with most government programs that finance or give grants for the purchase of wheelchair accessible vans.
  11. Are there any special financing programs available to veterans?

Disabled Veterans may be entitled to purchase a new or used wheelchair accessible van or other mobility vehicle at little or no out-of-pocket expense and we have the experience and expertise to help guide you through the process.
  12. Can I trade in my current vehicle?

Absolutely! We will give you a fair price for your trade in.
  13. What kind of training programs do your technicians receive to be qualified to service wheelchair vehicles?

Our technicians are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality service in the mobility vehicle modification industry. Brunswick Mobility is held to the highest standards in the mobility vehicle industry as it is QAP (Quality Assurance Program) certified through the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). Our technicians get specialized training directly from our manufacturers so that our customers’ vehicles receive the highest level of care.
  14. How often should my wheelchair accessibility van be serviced?

Preventive maintenance plays a crucial part in the continued trouble-free operation of your mobility van. A scheduled check-up should be completed at least every six months. As the only mobility dealer in Central New Jersey with a full service, bumper-to-bumper automotive repair facility, we have the experience and expertise to handle all necessary repairs on your vehicle.
